Take a Class…continued!

Monday, September 29th, 2014

I live in a fabulous part of Portland…close to all the wonders of Alberta Street.

Walking around one afternoon, I found myself drawn into this wonderful yarn store, Close Knit.

Close Knit, Portland

Close Knit has shelves that are stocked with delicious looking yarns….

So, I had to sign up for a class…too many incredible textures and possibilities to pass up. Of course I have a laundry list of collage projects waiting to be realized, but sometimes it’s great to take a different turn, see what sparks it creates in your work!

I humbly offer a shot of my first effort in progress…hopefully as the winter weeks roll on, my skills will rise up to meet my imagination.

Fledgling effort #1

Amy has an amazing blog,…a wonderful source of inspiration, information and style. If you haven’t gifted yourself with a sign up yet, do it now! And right after that, go pick up the Fall Issue of American Farmhouse Style…you will love it!
